One of the best restaurants I've had in SF! Definitely worth the wait, everything was delicious - catfish curry was so flavorful and crispy. a must! - sticky fingers was such a delicious appetizer the meat was tender and it was perfectly sweet with a nice viscous sauce. maybe my favorite item here. - coconut rice was fragrant and tasty, went well with everything. definitely elevates the meal from a typical jasmine rice. - eggplant texture is perfect I could eat it forever - tea tree salad is iconic here and I can see why. some unique flavors and textures and it all blends well together - we also got noodles which I thought were just okay but that is a small price to pay for an otherwise amazing meal - note: they only have one small bathroom and there was quite a line for it

the BF and I absolutely love Burma Superstar, though we usually go to the Berkeley location! It's pretty cool that different locations will have different specialties. It gives us more incentive to try other spots such as this one in SF or the one in Alameda. We almost always order the coconut chicken noodle soup, though that didn't appear to be an option in this location. The picture of the noodle dish is something similar, though, but dry instead of a soup. Plus we also usually order a beef curry dish with rice, also pictured. Overall, the ambiance of both locations we've tried is great. Fairly intimate even though the tables are somewhat close to each other (or maybe we're biased because we eat here so often..) Regardless, this restaurant is a good option for almost everything- a date, a catch up meal with friends, a casual dinner with your family, etc. I'm excited to come back and try something new!

Probably the best Burmese food I've had in San Francisco. It was all delicious and they had great service. They do have a bit of a wait tho always. We went on a Wednesday at 8 pm and there was still a ~30 mins wait so plan accordingly. The tea leaf salad is a must! They also have pitchers of all their cocktails which is great for sharing!

I made a Yelp to review this restaurant. I have eaten all over the world. You want to eat here. I have now dined twice and I wish I could continue coming back, unfortunately it is out of my home state ‍ - please enjoy for me
